About AfriStores

AfriStores.net is an online multivendor marketplace that connects sellers of authentic African products with buyers around the world. Our platform provides tools for listing, promoting, and selling products, as well as managing orders, payments, and deliveries — all in one place.

AfriStores.net is owned and operated by Aljosoft Technologies LLC, a company incorporated in the State of New Mexico, United States of America.

Section 02

Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account, browsing, or using any feature of AfriStores.net, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein.

Section 03

Eligibility

Our platform is open to individuals who are at least 18 years of age. By creating an account or using AfriStores.net in any capacity — as a buyer, seller, or delivery partner — you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

Section 04

Seller Accounts

Sellers are independent businesses or individuals who list and sell products through the AfriStores marketplace. By registering as a seller, you agree to the following:

• You will provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date business and product information at all times.
• All products listed must comply with applicable local and international trade laws and regulations.
• AfriStores reserves the right to review, approve, reject, or remove any seller application or product listing at its discretion.
• Sellers are solely responsible for order fulfillment, shipping logistics, and maintaining the quality of goods sold.
• Sellers must respond to buyer inquiries and disputes in a timely and professional manner.

Section 05

Buyer Accounts

Buyers are individuals who purchase products through AfriStores.net. By using the platform as a buyer, you agree that:

• You will provide accurate delivery addresses, contact details, and payment information.
• All payments must be completed through our secure, designated payment gateway.
• Refund and return requests are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
• You will not misuse buyer protections or engage in fraudulent claims or chargebacks.

Section 06

Delivery Partners

Delivery partners are independent contractors who fulfil last-mile deliveries on behalf of AfriStores. By registering as a delivery partner, you agree that:

• You will register with valid, verifiable identification and accurate personal details.
• You are responsible for the safe, professional, and timely delivery of all assigned orders.
• Violation of delivery policies may result in withheld payments, account suspension, or permanent termination.
• You acknowledge that you operate as an independent contractor and not as an employee of AfriStores or Aljosoft Technologies LLC.

Section 07

Payments & Fees

AfriStores operates a commission-based revenue model to sustain and grow the platform. The following applies to all financial transactions:

• AfriStores may charge sellers and delivery partners applicable service fees or commissions, which will be communicated transparently.
• All transactions are processed in the displayed currency through our verified, secure payment partners.
• Sellers are solely responsible for any applicable taxes, VAT, customs duties, or import/export fees associated with their products.
• AfriStores is not responsible for currency conversion rates or third-party payment processing fees.

Section 08

Prohibited Activities

To maintain a safe and trustworthy marketplace, the following activities are strictly prohibited on AfriStores.net:

• Listing, selling, or promoting counterfeit, illegal, stolen, or internationally restricted items.
• Misrepresenting products, prices, or business identity, or engaging in any form of fraudulent conduct.
• Infringing on the intellectual property, trademarks, or copyrights of any third party.
• Attempting to hack, reverse-engineer, disrupt, or exploit the platform or its infrastructure.
• Harassing, threatening, or engaging in abusive conduct toward other users, sellers, or AfriStores staff.
• Using the platform to facilitate money laundering, bribery, or any other unlawful financial activity.

Violation of any of the above may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination, and may be reported to the appropriate legal authorities.

Section 09

Intellectual Property

All content on AfriStores.net — including but not limited to the AfriStores name, logo, platform design, written content, and software — is the property of Aljosoft Technologies LLC or its content partners, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the platform without prior written consent from AfriStores. Seller-uploaded content remains the intellectual property of the respective seller; however, by uploading content, you grant AfriStores a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform for the purpose of facilitating sales.

Privacy & Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously. All personal data collected through AfriStores.net is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection frameworks.

By using our platform, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Section 11

Limitation of Liability

AfriStores.net operates as a marketplace platform and does not directly manufacture, store, or ship products. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• AfriStores is not liable for any losses, damages, or disputes arising between buyers, sellers, or delivery partners.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of product descriptions, images, or seller claims.
• We are not responsible for delays, losses, or damages during transit or delivery.
• Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the value of the transaction in dispute.

Section 12

Termination

AfriStores reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any account — without prior notice — if a user is found to be in violation of these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or acting in a manner that is harmful to other users or the integrity of the platform.

Users may also request the closure of their account at any time by contacting our support team. Outstanding obligations — such as unfulfilled orders or pending payments — must be resolved before an account can be fully closed.

Section 13

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users via email or an in-platform notice.
